So today we were doing substitution grid and how we did it to replace the number that we are trying to find the value. You replace the x and give it a a six and then start doing the sradigie.

DLO Math

WALT:solve word problems using the best strategy we know

So today we were doing a DLO math because we had to do like get in to groups to get used to each other and we had to a stradgie.So first I did was find Sarah by adding the 10 and 15 x and it gave me 35. Then for George  I doubled The 2 makes me 4 and then I doubled the 4  and I gave me eight and then I kept on going and the last number was 64For Michelle, I started with 15 and added 2 x 5 and it gave you 25.Then I did the same to the others and they were all less than George’s. So George has the most out all of them in about six weeks.

E-Ako

Today for math we were doing E-Ako its a math site where you have to log in and  start doing some math questions to earn some trophies and stars to complete your task. I was doing manipulative and i was doing a stage 4  because my group number is stage 4.

DLO

Today I have been doing a DLO with my partner Paerau and we had to solve some word problems together and try get the answer and write how we worked it out. When we did it it was really hard so we asked my teacher for help and it helped us a lot.
