Congratulation on having a baby, We really appreciate
you having a baby because your baby creates a
really big history.

We are welcoming you baby girl and hope she will
be a good prime minister in the future.

We really like the name Neve you named her.

We hope you are going to be the best
 mum in the whole entire world.

While you are working we appreciate
Clarke Gayford by being a house dad and will
look after you beautiful baby Neve.

Your baby is really special because
your baby gives all of us happiness.

We all will say to her “welcome to our village “
because she is lovely and cute.

to be loved - and never outgrows it.”

Peanut Butter Cookie

                   Peanut Butter Biscuits

      Walht:write a procedure to make peanut    butter biscuits for 22 students in room 8.

Ingredients:

1 cup  softened butter (2.27 Grams).

1 cup of smooth or crunchy peanut butter.

1 cup of Chelsea White Sugar .

1 cup of chelsea soft brown sugar.

2 and a half eggs

1 2/4 cups of flour.

1 teaspoon of baking powder.

1 teaspoon of baking soda.

A half teaspoon of salt.

2 cups of chocolate chips.

Untensis:

Hand mixer

Measuring cup teaspoon

Method:
1.Put butter into a big bowl.
2.Cut butter into small cubes.
3.Put in the peanut butter.
4.Mix it with the hand mixture.
5.Cracked 2 eggs.
6.Add in the flour
7.Add in a teaspoon of baking powder
8.Add in a teaspoon of baking soda
9.Put in all the dry ingredients.
10.Stir it in.
11. Divide it into 44 pieces.
12.Roll it into circles.  Flatten it.
13. Put on the chocolate on top.
14. Put in oven.
15.Wait for 12 minutes.

I planned it so that I got a taste of every luscious ingredient.
My taste buds celebrated every single time! Oooh, so good.

Design Tower

 Title: Design Thinking

1. We designed a allocentric tower by using  newspaper and some tape.
2. We showed  empathy by listening to our teacher by what the tourist wants and was using our imagination.
3. We could make our design better by helping each others and listening.
4. The special thing about my tower is that it is a tower of adventure and bungee jumping.
5. The thing I like about it is that it has a flat bottom and it it can stand up by itself.

My mums Spaghetti (Poem)

   

My mom’s spaghetti is the best;

no other mom can beat it;

and every time she cooks it

I can hardly wait to eat it.

I twist the strands around my fork

with wonderful control,

but as I raise them to my mouth

they fall back in the bowl.

I twirl the noodles once again

with all the skill I’m able,

but as I lift them up to eat

they tumble to the table.

I spin my fork; spaghetti winds

around and round once more;

but as it nears my waiting lips

it slithers to the floor.

My mom’s spaghetti is the best;

no other mom can beat it;

but I would like it better

if I got a chance to eat it.

Matariki Art

Matariki Art (Van Gogh)

This week we were doing our Matariki art for the Matariki display on Friday 15 June. We did it because it was the style of Van Gogh and his art was a popular art, and his art was called starry starry night.One of the lessons was to do some thick line around the stars. There were a few art lessons we had to follow.

Prototec

This week I have remain the same on prototec.

I have learnt my division , multiplication ,

my subtraction and addition but I have to practise

more by getting my older cousin that lives with me to help and

get my stage higher. Next week I would like to move up to stage 7

and get 100% on

prototec basic facts. By the the end of term 2 I would like

to be at stage 7 & 8 because that is where we are supposed to be at this year level.

3G4G

3G4G means 4 giving and 3 goodness. The 3 goodness means do good deeds , say good words and think good thoughts. We really behaving there and were doing the 3G4G things and we were really happy there.

Trip To Buddhist Temple

 

Last week Friday we were at the buddhist temple. While we were still there we went to look at the policies that were talking about anti-bullying when we were asking questions we get to watch some of our schoolmates being policies. After the act we were handed out each bell and started ringing them and reading it.

On Friday we went to the buddhist temple. At the buddhist temple we had a refreshment there. For our refreshment we had cookies and water . It really fresh and nice that we wanted another one but we weren't allowed to have one.

Last week on Friday we went to the buddhist temple to learn to be kind and speak good words. While we were there we were at the wishing bell. At the wishing bell we would make a wish , but before we made our with we put our palms together then bow and we do that again after we made our wish then we ring the bell.

Today we went to the Buddhist Temple at the 1 of June. While we were there we were making some flowers which is called a lotus and another thing that is a bell that was given out from the angles. We had so much fun that we did not want t leave the temple.
